Sign up and create an account at CodeAcademy.
Complete the Learn HTML course at CodeAcademy. This is a beginner course that should take a few hours to complete. Show certificate to Mike when finished.
Sign up and create an account GitHub. We will be using this website for almost everything.
Watch GitHub Desktop for beginners by CoderCoder on YouTube (20 minutes). This explains very clearly how to use Github and the Github Desktop app.
Download and install SublimeText. We will be using this to edit our code files.
Download and install Github Desktop. We will be using this to upload and download our code to and from Github.
Sign in and connect your Github account to Github Desktop once the app is running.
Send Mike your Github username and get added to the Bonner-Prendie Github team.
You are ready to now clone the pom-pom-app repo. Clone this app to your computer using Github Desktop.
Create a new branch after selecting a new feature to implement. Give your branch a name and push the new branch to Github.
